When the FAA created the US Light Sport Aircraft (LSA) category in 2004, the Paradise P1 was in a very good position.   The plane already met the definition so they set about insuring all standards were met for ASTM certification.  Once completed, Paradise Aero began delivery of the P1 to foreign and domestic customers including the US where about a dozen P1s are flying today.

The Paradise P1 light sport aircraft is completely new from the front to the rear of the airplane, and include many features that you will not find on many light sport aircraft

The paradise aircraft looks like a Cessna 150 on steroids and flys more like a Cessna 172.

The feel of the airplane is solid and responds to a light touch on the controls, it is easy to fly and very solid in turbulence. It is a perfect airplane to train in because it looks and feels like a general aviation aircraft. After you fly it you will know what I am talking about.

One of the best features is the ease of getting in and out of the paradise. It is that the strut is behind the door entrance, and with the large door, getting in and out is easy. The fully adjustable seats help all sizes adjust the seating to be comfortable.

Various two and three paint scheme options are available, so the customer can customize his or her Paradise.

The upholstery is Brazilian leather that is all through the airplane, seats, sides, back and ceiling, it is like looking at a Lexus car on the inside.
